About

Dr. Edwina Pritchard graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2005 with a BSc(Med) MBBS (Hons).

Her junior training was undertaken at Royal North Shore, Port Macquarie Base and Manly Hospitals. Dr. Pritchard has obtained a Diploma of Child Health from The Children’s Hospital Westmead in 2009 and achieved Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012 whilst working as a Paediatric Registrar at Sutherland Hospital. She has been an examiner for the College since 2014, demonstrating her commitment to maintaining high standards in the medical profession.

Dr. Pritchard is accredited to provide antenatal shared care through Northern Beaches and Royal North Shore Hospitals, as well as the Royal Hospital for Women and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Additionally, she is accredited to insert Implanon devices and has trained and worked with Family Planning NSW. 

With a passion for patient education and preventative medicine, Dr. Pritchard enjoys the variety and continuity of care that general practice offers, particularly in caring for individuals and families. 

Her main areas of interest include children’s and adolescent health, women’s health (including contraception, fertility, and menopause), and mental health. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Pritchard enjoys singing in a choir, running, skiing, and spending quality time with her two young boys at the beach.
